Community Bank Bangladesh PLC. Inaugurates Its 19th Branch in Jashore
Dhaka, Bangladesh [03 December, 2025]: Community Bank Bangladesh PLC. officially inaugurated its 19th branch in Jashore, one of the key economic and commercial hubs of the southwestern region of the country. The new Branch, located on RN Road—one of Jashore’s Prime Business locations—was formally inaugurated on Wednesday morning by Mr. A K M Awlad Hossain, Additional IG (Admin), Bangladesh Police.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by Special Guest Mr. Ahmad Muyeed, BPM (Sheba), Additional DIG, Bangladesh Police. Mr. Kimiwa Saddat, Managing Director (Current Charge) Community Bank; Mr. Shamsul Haque Sufyani, Chief Operating Officer (COO); Mrs. Hasi Rani Bepari, Head of CRM; Mr. Md. Tanjim Morshed Bhuiyan, CITO, Head of DFS & Deputy Head of RMD; Mr. Sarfuddin Md. Redwan Patwary, Head of Operations; Dr. Md. Ariful Islam, Head of Corporate Banking and Head of Business (Branch); Md. Mamun Ur Rahman, Head of ADC and Head of MD’s Coordination Team; Head of GSD (CC), Mr. Zahid Ibne Anwar and Mr. Md. Roqonuzzaman, Branch Manager along with senior officials of the Community Bank, local dignitaries, business leaders, and valued customers attended the event.
Speaking as the Chief Guest, Mr. A K M Awlad Hossain said, “Jashore is one of the oldest and most culturally enriched districts of Bangladesh. Alongside its heritage, the region holds immense economic potential. Benapole land port, Noapara industrial zone, Gadkhali flower cultivation, advanced agriculture, and the thriving Fish Hatchery sector have made Jashore a vital contributor to the national economy. This new branch of Community Bank will further accelerate trade and business activities in the region.”
Special Guest Mr. Ahmad Muyeed stated, “The core objective behind the establishment of Community Bank is to make Banking services more accessible to the people. We are committed to expanding modern Banking facilities to Jashore and other remote regions across the country.”
